    What is your sense/advice of deploying WordPress 3.3 at this time?

    Well, 3.3 only came out today, but our demo sites are running it and we always develop our themes on the latest beta versions to ensure we are always ready for the next release.

    But new release do often bring unexpected issues to themes and plugins.

    So far there are no reported issues with themeloom themes yet, but this version does change quite a lot in the back end (dashboard), so it may depend on whether the plugins you are using are ready for it.

    So it sounds like perhaps I should wait maybe a few days in case any issues develop?

    No there haven’t been any reported so far. We did release an update to some themes this week, but this wouldn’t make much difference to 3.3 performance.

    Updated my test site and a live site (static content only) a week ago.

    Using Pure theme v1.8

    Several of the plugins I use have been updated in the last few days.

    Upgrade process worked fine. 🙂

    No sign of any problems so far. 🙂

    BackWPup (Updated) [backs up my site]
    ContactForm 7 (Updated)
    Really simple Captcha
    Redirect [used for linking a from a page thumbnail on the front page]
    Regenerate Thumbnails (Updated) [Recomended]
    Use Google Libraries (Updated) [Improved site load speed]
    Widget Context [controls where menu widget appears]

    I am preparing to move our main site to use WP & Pure Theme, so currently have a test site which additionally runs:
    buddy press (also just updated), BP Group hierarchy, private BP, BP group email subscription
    post type switcher
    RSS Shortcode (Modified version – points to sermon.net RSS feed and outputs the HTML5 tags for playing audio files).
    Simply Poll

    All seem to be working ok.
