Can you provide instructions on properly upgrading to the new theme. I’m somewhat of a beginner. I have done a lot of work to my current theme and am afraid to uninstall the current theme, then reinstall 1.4. Would I lose all my theme settings and plugin settings? Thanks for the support!

You will not loose theme settings or plugin settings when upgrading theme.

BUT you should always backup your site before making changes.

    1. download new theme package
    2. unzip on your computer
    3. upload content of zip file to the wp-content/themes folder on your server using ftp

    1. Using Appearance-Themes, delete current theme
    2. Install new package.
