    The lttle row of icons to share a page/post on facebook twitter etc.

    I have this working on my Pure theme sites but not on my new Lush site.

    Am I missing something obvious here?

    Yes, it is disabled by default in Lush following feedback from Pure users!!

    To enable add the following to your child theme functions.php or to parent functions.php (actually it is there but commented out):

    add_theme_support( ‘livingos_share_buttons’ );

    Thanks

    I suppose the choice comes down to whether you want to be social or not.
    Some want their site to be a brochure, others want to engage with visitors.

    I will have a go at creating a child theme later.

    I had the same question as Roger, I’ve found the
    add_theme_support( ‘livingos_share_buttons’ );

    in Theme Functions (functions.php)

    But I don’t see how it’s commented out, so I can add it back in. (I’m looking for /* */)

    Hi Constance

    I have a child theme you can use.

    It can be downloaded from here for the next few days.
    LivingOS-Lush-Child.zip

    It is based on the sample pure child theme.
    It does a bit more than add the icon, e.g. I have added some additional image sizes and made the featured images visible on pages.

    You can either open the zip and edit the functions file or upload the theme and use the theme edit function to delete the lines you do not need.

    Perhaps Tim could make it available to others if he wishes.

    Hi, I made a simple child theme with no changes to the functions etc.

    But I am seeing that by default the featured image is showing on all posts. Could you help on how to switch that off as in many cases I end up with two images on each post.

    Thanks

    Nick

    Please note – the link to the child theme above has expired and has been re-used by wikisend for something unrelated to this theme.
