    I have added this parameter (tried h1,h2 and h3) and it makes no different to the page when viewed.

    Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug?

    Page is here: http://www.scfchurch.co.uk/who-we-are/
    Displayed with [los_showposts post_type="pages" columns="2" content="true" heading="true" parent_id="101" num_posts="8" thumbsize="half" entrytag="h1"]

    Yes it does.

    View Source on your page shows…

    <h1 class="entry-title">
    <a href="http://www.scfchurch.co.uk/who-we-are/leadership/" title="Leadership" rel="bookmark">Leadership</a>

    The entrytag parameter is working.

    But the css selector for this elemetn is

    .entry-content .content-box .entry-title {font-size:1.2em; …etc }.

    So it won’t visibly look different unless you add some custom css.

    Thanks – added the css to the child theme with a change to the font size.

    Learning point is that css overides any default sizes for Hn tags.
