    Is it possible to add a search box to the drop down menu or in the header? Thanks.

    You could try something like this:

    http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-themes/how-to-add-custom-items-to-specific-wordpress-menus/

    to add items to teh WordPress menus. But you would also need to add css to style appropriately.

    Or you could edit a copy of header.php in a child theme and add a search form there.

    In fact our theme includes a function you can use to insert a search form:

    <?php livingos_search_frm(); ?>

    I too would like something like this – sort of like the Xi Theme – would I just add that PHP code to my Child theme function.php file?

    Actually – I would rather not have it as a drop down – is there anyway to mimic the search bar in Xi or on the ThemeLoom homepage?

    Just wondering if you have any direction in this regard?

    We ended up using the search box on navigation menu plugin. See http://www.gcbc.info for implementation.

    Thanks Scott – do you have time to share how you added that?

    FYI: It looks great! I added the Search Widget to the bottom of my home page and then in the sidebar on each other page: http://mayawalk.ca
