    Can you share why the icon – when used as a featured image – is transparent, but when inserted into the post it is not? Would like to loose the white borders if possible. Thoughts?

    Yes the images in a post have a background color. To loose this you would need:

    .post img, .post a img:hover{background:transparent;}

    Or if you just want this one image add style=”background:transparent;” to the img tag:

    <img src="you image url" style="background:transparent;" >

    Thx! Went with adding it to the custom code for now, as I cannot anticipate why I would not want an image transparent. Could you provide a reason why perhaps?

    Thx! I have added it to the custom code – as I cannot anticipate why I would not want it to be transparent. Any reason I would want to do this on a per case basis?

    Reason is that it gives images a bit of a border and background.

    I am not certain where to put that as my code is somewhat different:

    <p style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://ucim.org/wp-content/text/120225.ucim.pct.bfmb.poster.pdf" target="_blank"><img class="size-full wp-image-1615 aligncenter" title="UCiM Welcomes Barrier-Free Manitoba" src="http://ucim.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/111208.png" alt="" width="48" height="48" /></a></p>

    BTW: I am not certain what is happening, but posting seems problematic today?

    Disregard all of the posts – sorry do not know what is happening. Code seemed to have worked!

    I thought the css fix you suggested was going to fix my problem too…

    Where I am showing images in sidebar1 (for index pages) they have a border too (and their width is increased so the images wrap in a way I dont want) – whereas in sidebar2 they do not:

    sidebar1: http://frrme.small-beginnings.net/reconciliation/
    sidebar2: http://frrme.small-beginnings.net/first-freedom-prize/

    Please could you tell me what css to change to fix this.

    Thanks Tim.

    That’s because you are using Pure not Xi!

    In Pure you would need something like:

    .post img {
        border: none;
        padding: 0px;
    }

    Yep, that did it – thanks Tim!
