I have LivingOS MU 2.5. I edited comments.php, removing all the lines after “if you remove this line the sky will fall.” Now I’m getting the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENDIF in /home2/rrcovorg/public_html/wp-content/themes/LivingOS_MU/comments.php on line 22

The parse error occurs when I use the default template and disappears when I use the “full width” template.

I tried to paste back what I had deleted out, but I’m still getting the same error. Is there a simple way to reinstall comments.php?

If you edited comments.php, then you have obviously introduced an error into the code. The error message confirms this – most likely as too many if end tags.

Restore original files and start from there.
