I am wondering how – if it’s possible – to insert the twitter_32 icon into a post with the effect that occurs in the Social Menu? What I like is that the twitter icon is coloured to the theme but when moused over turns to the twitter blue. Is it possible, therefore, to replicate that in a Post? Does this inquiry make sense?

The CSS obviously only works with a menu. I guess you could try re-creating menu html inside a post or just copying css to style your code in the post.

Hmmm …. thanks! I will likely stick with my own solution, as I believe this is beyond my own abilities. I remain most grateful for your ongoing support!

Okay I thought I would play with this and it does work – but when I use the code I get a bullet beside the icon – anyway to get rid of the bullet?

    <pre class=”brush: css; gutter: false; first-line: 1; highlight: []; html-script: false”><li class="twitter32 menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-25" id="menu-item-25">Twitter

Well you need to uses css with list-style-type: none on the UL tag.

But that would still create a bullet?

    Okay,

    I have gotten this far now: “<ul style=”list-style: none;”>
    <li class=”twitter32 menu-item menu-item-type-custom menu-item-object-custom menu-item-25″ id=”menu-item-25″ >Twitter

Now – I am wondering how can I centre the image in the post?
