This might be simple but I cannot figure out how the sub-menu appears on a page. For example, the Templates Menu on the MU Demo page has all the sub-menu options as a separate menu on the page. How does this work?

Also, how do I make the Blogroll on the far right go away?

I also noticed that the >> do not appear on my drop down menus either. I tried adding them manually to the menu titles but it doesn’t look right, are they supposed to be added automatically?

Give you sub pages, a parent in the page editor.

    Thank you, that was easy.

But how do I remove the Blogroll and the Archives and have nothing showing in those spaces if I want?

Add an empty text widget to the sidebar.

    Hi Again,

Just follow on from the sub-menu, how do you stop the child of a child from appearing in a sub menu? For example, Top->Child1->Child1-1,
when I am on Top how do I stop the sub-menu from showing Child1-1 under Child1

    Top:
    Child1
    Child1-1
    Child1-2
    Child2

I only want the sub-menu to display the immediate children and not the grand children, is that possible?

For example when on Top or Child1 I want the sub-menu to show

    Top:
    Child1
    Child2

Child1-1 should only be visible of the sub-menu of one of its siblings

Page being displayed is Child1-1 and the sub-menu would be,

    Child1:
    Child1-1
    Child1-2

    I hope that makes sense.

    Regards
    Andrew

You would need to customise the code in sidebar1.php.

The wp_list_pages() function will take a depth parameter. So somethign like:

    $children = wp_list_pages(“title_li=&child_of=”.$post->ID.”&echo=0&depth=1″);

see WordPress codex on this function for more options.
