    I am using a more robust event management tool on my wordpress site and would like to disable the native Event management tool within XI. How would I go about this?

    Thanks!

    Either comment out line
    add_theme_support( ‘livingos_event_manager’ );
    in functions.php

    Or better in a child theme you can use

    remove_theme_support(‘livingos_event_manager’);

    Hi Ben,

    Would you be comfortable sharing what Event Manager you are using?

    Hi Ben,

    I am not sure if you are watching this thread – but if you do have time to share the Manager you are considering, that would be gratefully received.

    Hey guys! Thanks. Sorry for being MIA on this comment string.

    I am using Events Manager Pro (http://wp-events-plugin.com/) and it incorporates into buddypress groups as well. Pretty awesome.

    I will be experimenting with the code you provided.

    Thanks again!

    Ben

    Thanks Ben! Are you running the Manager now? Does the interface – on the front-end – make use of the existing WP format or is it completely different?
